Popular Indian music composer, director and actor Vijay Antony was injured in a boat accident while filming in Pulau Langkawi on Monday.
According to a report by The Hindustan Times, Antony was injured while performing an action sequence which was being shot on the water, for Pichaikkaran 2, his upcoming Tamil directorial debut film.
The 47-year-old was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Langkawi where he was admitted for treatment. No details of his injuries were given.
Producer Dhananjayan later tweeted that Antony was under observation but is “fast recovering” from his injuries.
