Fans ran Mumbai Marathon in support of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs contestant Jetshen Dohna Lama

Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is the longest-running singing reality show that has been ruling the hearts of audiences for almost 3 decades. After introducing the music fraternity to talent powerhouses like Shreya Ghoshal, Shekhar Ravijani, Kunal Ganjawala, Sugandha Mishra, Kamal Khan, Raja Hasan, and Vaishali Mhade amongst others, Zee TV is currently giving some exceptional young singing prodigies a chance to shine on the grandest stage once again with the 9th season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs. 

Week after week, the Li’l champs have amazed one and all with their amazing performances and as the show is headed towards its grand finale on 22nd Jan, viewers will get to watch the top 6 give it their best.  The grand finale weekend will see the likes of superstar Jackie Shroff and Rakul Preet Singh as celebrity guests and be hosted by the couple with a comical flair – Bharti Singh and hubby Harsh. 

While on the show, one li’l champ who seems to have done her state proud is 9-year-old Jetshen Dohna Lama who hails from Pakyong, Sikkim. Not only has been widely appreciated by all the judges, jury members, celebrity guests and audiences for her power-packed performances and christened as the ‘Mini Sunidhi Chauhan’ of the season but the latest on her is that this little singing sensation has inspired a group of Marathoners based in Darjeeling, Sikkim and Kalimpong to travel all the way to Mumbai and participate in the Marathon as a rally cry for Jetshen’s success at the show’s finale. This adulation and hero worship Jetshen enjoys bears testament to her undeniable talent and all-round popularity.

One of the fans, Sudarshan Tamang said, “We came from Darjeeling, Sikkim, Kalimpong to run for the Mumbai Marathon in support of Jetshen’s exceptional talent. She is an introvert but when she performs, she is like fire. She is already a winner in our eyes, we hope she wins Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs and makes us even more proud.”

Jetshen mentioned, “I am grateful to everyone who came to Mumbai and ran the marathon to support me for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs. I am very thankful for all the love that people are showering on me.”

While Jetshen’s fans came all the way from Darjeeling, Sikkim, and Kalimpong and participated in the marathon to support her, wait till you witness the other extraordinary performances in the Blockbuster Finale episode by these talented kids!
