Researchers have discovered fossils of megaraptor, a species of theropod dinosaur, in Chile’s Patagonia region. The megaraptor existed 84 to 65 million years ago and had a 35-centimetre sickle-like claw on the thumb of both their hands. The area also included dinosaurs called unenlagiines. They grew from chicken size to over 10 feet tall and were probably covered with feathers.
