The trailer of Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh is finally out. Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming directorial not only promises to be intriguing but also to stir controversy in terms of its plot. 

Starring Deepak Antani and Chinmay Mandlekar in the titular characters, ‘Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh’ is slated to hit cinemas on January 26, 2023.

As the trailer hit online, people are going gaga about the film Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh.

The film backed by Santoshi Productions LLP and PVR Pictures is all set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan,’ which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles.

People are claiming that it would be tough for ‘Pathaan’ to stand out at the box office against Rajkumar Santoshi’s Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh. They are already of the opinion that Gandhi Godse is a ‘blockbuster’ film.

Many people have reacted to the Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh trailer after its release on YouTube.

A user wrote, “I am speechless. I am not sure is it a Propaganda or something else.” 

Another claimed, “The trailer is looking too good. it’s going to be tough for #Pathaan to stand out.” 

A third sarcastically tweeted, “Rip #PathanMovie in advance.” 

While a fourth noted, “Brilliant #GandhiGodseEkYudhTrailer. Very very daring concept in current times. Clash with #Pathaan on #RepulicDay #GandhiGodseEkYudh to be watched.” 

People are also talking about how the film apparently shows Gandhi alive even after the assassination.

Some of the dialogues in the film also make the film controversial for example – “Ek Din Yaha Pe Bhagwa Lehrayega” which I being mouthed by Godse character.
