The Harman Luxury Audio Group expanded its JBL Classic Series at CES 2023, debuting the new SA550 Classic integrated amplifier, MP350 Classic streaming media player, CD350 Classic CD player, and TT350 Classic turntable.

Combing modern technology with a retro aesthetic, the new models join the brand’s passive and active Classic Series loudspeaker offerings, including the much-loved L100.

The components take inspiration from the JBL SA600 amplifier, released in the 1960s, and the exclusive SA750 integrated amplifier introduced to celebrate JBL’s 75th Anniversary in 2021.

Features include the same natural walnut wood veneers as the Classic Series loudspeakers, plus machined aluminium faceplates and controls.

The SA550 features Class G amplifier topology and uses the Bluetooth AptX Adaptive for hi-res wireless audio.

The MP350 Classic music player is Roon-ready, and works with Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, as well as Google Chromecast and Apple Airplay. Both components render digital audio using a reference hi-res DAC with time domain jitter elimination.

The CD350 Classic and TT350 Classic cater for CD and vinyl enthusiasts. The former supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW playback, and FLAC, WAV, MP3, AAC, and WMA file formats. The TT350 Classic turntable features a direct drive motor and curved aluminium tonearm; rotational speeds are locked with a speed sensor. The deck features a pre-installed moving magnet cartridge on a removable headshell. A tinted hinged dust cover matches the walnut wood chassis.

The SA550 Classic, CD350 Classic, MP350 Classic, and TT350 Classic will be available mid-2023 priced at $2,000/£1,599/€1,899, $700/£799/€899, $800/£875/€999, and $1,000/£925/€1049, respectively.
